Faster than an industry magazine, speedier than a television newscast and loaded with more up-to-date information than 10 sets of encyclopedias combined, the Internet is one of the best places to go to hear all the juicy gossip out of Hollywood. Loaded with more fodder for gossip than a family reunion, Hollywood is ripe with stories that break at all hours of the night and day.
From movie stars and rock stars to soap actors, producers, writers and more, those who make Hollywood their home have done so at a price. By stepping into the spotlight, these people have opened up their lives for their fans. Their day-to-day comings and goings are the things headlines are made of. People want to know who theyre seeing, what theyre doing, what they look like without their make up and more.
Considering the sheer popularity of the Hollywood set and the glamour they exude, its little wonder the gossip surrounding them is so prevalent. From pregnancies and break ups to whos getting paid what to be in which movie, the amount of information on stars is unbelievable.

People want to know what the stars think about issues as far reaching as world hunger, AIDS, wars, taxes and so on. With stars becoming spokespeople for the likeminded, Hollywood activism has taken on a life of its own.
These topics and more can all be found online in an abundance that will make some peoples heads spin. When it comes to gossip, the Internet is afire with it. Since the ability to update news sites, blogs and more is so fast, if it happened 10 minutes ago it can already be on the web.
